In a world overwhelmed by decades of overproduction, there is already an excess of garments and fabrics polluting our planet. So instead of creating more, we choose to work with what already exists. I often imagine the past lives of the pieces I find—their history, their energy. And while some garments inspire me instantly, if they're still in great condition with plenty of life left in them, I usually let them be. I focus on the ones that need a little love—pieces waiting for a second chance, a new chapter.
